Seline Clinic — is a premium network of aesthetic medicine clinics in Moscow, specializing in high-tech procedures across cosmetology, trichology, aesthetic dentistry, plastic surgery, and comprehensive aesthetic rehabilitation.
The goal of the project was to build a mobile app for patients that would become a full-fledged part of the clinic’s digital ecosystem: a convenient booking channel, a source of medical information, and a communication and marketing tool.

Challenges
Integration with multiple systems
The app had to work with several data sources at once: the Medical Information System (MIS) — for doctor booking, patient workflows, and medical data; Bitrix (CMS) — as the source of marketing content such as services, promotions, special offers, and informational materials. A key challenge was clearly separating system responsibilities and synchronizing data without duplicating business logic.
Handling medical and personal data
The project required extra attention to security, proper user authentication, and reliable transmission of personal and medical data.
Advanced functionality with a simple interface
We needed to deliver functionality comparable to a patient-facing EMR experience while keeping the UX simple, intuitive, and easy to use.
How We Delivered It
Systems analysis and integration architecture
The UX/UI design and user flows were provided by the client. On our side, we performed systems analysisand designed the integration architecture between the mobile application and the clinic’s IT infrastructure. The main focus areas included integration with the MIS for patient booking, appointment data retrieval, and medical information display; integration with Bitrix CMS as the source of services, promotions, and marketing content; aligning business logic between the app, MIS, and CMS; ensuring stable data synchronization; and meeting security requirements for personal and medical data.
Implementation based on the client’s design
The mobile app design was fully provided by the client. Our task was to accurately implement the UX/UI for both iOS and Android while following all user flows and brand guidelines.
Technology implementation (MERN)
We chose the MERN stack for development: React Native for the cross-platform mobile app, Node.js + Express for server-side logic and integrations, MongoDB for storing service and user data. This ensured stability, scalability, and a strong foundation for future product growth.
Electronic medical records
The app was integrated with the clinic’s MIS. We implemented a Medical Records section where patients can: view lab test results, see specialist conclusions, and access their visit history. All data is retrieved from the MIS and displayed securely within the mobile application.
Marketing and additional sales opportunities
Marketing content such as services, promotions, and special offers is delivered to the app from Bitrix CMS. To present this content, we implemented a stories format familiar to social media users, which helped increase engagement and drive repeat bookings without relying on aggressive outbound campaigns.
